  • Rose Petals

    We'll start with basic techniques by focusing on tonal values and controlling the spread of the pigment. Our first artwork will feature tender and minimal Transparent Rose Petals.

  • Eucalyptus Leaves

    We'll continue exploring the watercolour medium, talking about colour palettes. We'll make our own reference photos and will paint transparent branch with eucalyptus leaves.

  • Magnolia Flower

    Our final artwork will uncover the full potential of different techniques in the watercolor medium. I'll guide you through each petal and you'll be amazed by your talent and new skills.

Award winning illustrator from Ukraine based in Norway Katerina Kolberg

Having 9 years of experience in illustration, I paint using mostly watercolours and enjoy creating rich botanical illustrations, elegant florals and mouth-watering food illustration. My goal is to capture the beauty in nature, and I've received numerous commissions for packaging, advertising campaigns, textiles, and stationery. My distinctive style has led to collaborations with brands such as Yoplait, Vivi Kola, Tine, Nora, Roland Foods, Freerange Market, and Fairmont Hotels. My illustrations have won various awards and have been featured in publications like Feeling Plants and A Fairy Tale about Love: Wedding Graphic Design. I have crafted this comprehensive course, meticulously designed to guide you through each step, ensuring you paint with ease and confidence.
